Welcome To Bharati Vidyapeeth:
Today, Bharati Vidyapeeth has its major campuses in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad, Satara, and Panchgani and at quite a few other places. Bharati Vidyapeeth is probably the only organization from Maharashtra having its campus in the capital city of India. It is not in the urban areas alone that Bharati Vidyapeeth has started its institutions. Its schools and colleges have dotted rural areas and even the remotest tribal and coastal areas of Maharashtra. Bharati Vidyapeeth runs more than 78 schools and 60 institutions of higher education, including those of professional education. Among these are colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Biotechnology, Engineering, Management, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Environment Science, Agriculture, Physical education and more. With a view to promote research activities and to create a research culture on its campuses, Bharati Vidyapeeth has established five specialized research institutes in the areas of Health Related Sciences, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Applied Chemistry and Social Sciences.

Dr. Patangrao Kadam.
The splendid edifice of Bharati Vidyapeeth, which is today, one of the largest and leading organizations in India, is a creation of one person: Dr. Patangrao Kadam. Under his able, dedicated and visionary leadership, Bharati Vidyapeeth established in Pune in 1964, has made tremendous strides during the last 46 years. The credit of establishment and of astonishing development of Bharati Vidyapeeth and its allied concerns goes entirely to the dynamic leadership and undaunted hard work of Dr. Patangrao Kadam.

Exam Department
Bharati Vidyapeeth started an External Exam Department in 1964 for Maths & English subjects to make these subjects easy and to uplift the rural and downtrodden societies students. Bharati Vidyapeeth's first secondary school Shankarrao More Vidyalaya, Erandwane, Pune was started in 1968. It is the maternal school of all the secondary schools of Bharati Vidyapeeth. There are 29 Marathi Medium secondary schools in Bharati Vidyapeeth. Bharati Vidyapeeth's School Exam Department conducts all the yearly examinations of these Marathi Medium secondary schools.
